Its grandeur looms in front of your eyes, whether it is a city or a National Park. Washington D.C. was quite emotional, Capitol Hill, Lincoln Memorial and the National Air Space Museum. New York, New York, wow a city of gigantic buildings and the green Statue of Liberty! The Grand Canyon, my favourite landscape to photograph .A truly awesome natural wonder of the world. |

Amazing blue - with white mountainous lands, abundant with spectacular glaciers. The prominent black volcanic rock mountains and balsamic beaches gave a challenging contrast to capture with the pristine white mountains. Each iceberg displayed a very different imposing formation with the spattering of penguins resting upon them.
A very pristine area to visit. |

We have it all and more! I think our rugged, isolated & contrasting environment is a mecca for the keen landscape photographer. We have the vast, isolated and dry inland and then the spectacular and varied coastline. Having recently photographed the Kimberley via a catamaran from Broome to Wyndam, one feels like you are pioneering into the wild rugged Kimberley region.

Oh yeah! Just loved the Chilean landscape - if only it wasn’t so windy! I spent time in the Paine National Park area. The massive Paine Horns were awe inspiring; always in the background of your scenic shots. |

Being there to photograph the gardens in particular, very few landscapes were captured. A marvellous historic bridge in very rainy conditions was inspiring
- Itsukushrima Shrine; a World Heritage Site. We spent a night at this a very magical Japanese site.

Stunning green! Having done little landscape photography in this country I found it lacking in contrast. With my friend we photographed extensively around Nelson in the South Island. The rugged northwest offered wonderful coastal beaches and contrast was seen in the many tidal movements of the ocean. Winding our way down through the Marlborough to go boat fishing was spectacular with many photographic opportunities. |

The Patagonia Highlights Tour offered Perito Moreno Glacier and the Glacier National Park to trek to many glaciers. Being inexperienced trekkers, my friend and I only succeeded with the 23kms walk to the picturesque Laguna del los Tres Glacier. To climb and walk upon Viedma Glacier on New Years Eve Day was an experience that left us all on a high. A country definitely to be revisited.
