Jacquie McNamara - Landscape & Wildlife Photography

I took up landscape and wildlife photography soon after retirement from nursing in country South Australia. My first camera was the early digital - 2.1 megapixel Canon Ixus, progressing to my two Canon Digital SLR cameras, the newest being a Canon 5 DEOS - a full frame camera.

Along this steep learning curve I purchased a variety of lenses and filters.I favour the wide angle lense for my landscape photography, shooting mainly in AV mode. My focus is mostly on landscape, garden and wildlife photography and I edit each canvas print using Adobe Photoshop CS3.

The world is my canvas and I love to put its wildlife and landscape to print for all to experience its beauty. Commencing April 26th 'A Moroccan Adventure' followed by 'Secret Gardens of Tuscany and France'. I am told the light in Tuscany is a photographer's delight! Imagine the colour and culture to capture in Morocco. Yes, you guessed it, a garden tour.

I equally enjoy travelling throughout Australia with my photography, capturing its unique landscape and wildlife, and look forward to bringing you more images of this fabulous country, and maybe even a special canvas print that will take your eye.
